Glen E. Geog
MILLERSBURG- Glen Eugene Geog, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at Majora Lane Nursing & Rehabilitation.
He was born March 20, 1932 in Millersburg to the late Emerson Buker and Pearl L. (Pigman) Geog. He was a former oil field tool dresser and also worked in the timber industry. He loved to joke around with people, playing tricks and being generally mischievous. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting, farming and providing transportation for the Amish community.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth (Carolyn) Geog of Brinkhaven; a step-daughter, Rita Mandell of Michigan; three grandchildren, Pete Alberts of Warsaw, Glen (Tula) Geog of Brinkhaven, and Tammy Geog of Howard; three step-grandchildren, Andy (Jenifer) O’Dell of Brinkhaven, Kandi (Gabe) Eutin of Brinkhaven, and Randy (Lisa) O’Dell of Warsaw; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Geog of Blissfield, Richard (Connie) Geog of Ontario, and Clarence (Rhonda) Geog of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Louise (Fronsman) Geog and Ruth (Maatta) Geog; a grandson, Kenny Geog II; three brothers, Leonard Geog, Roy Geog, and Emerson Geog, Jr.; a sister, Julia Snow; and a step-son, Marty Rousseau.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor Dale Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Tiverton Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
