WARSAW- Thomas Lee “Tom” Rollins, 72, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at his residence.

He was born April 2, 1946 in New Castle to the late Charles Oscar and Helen Irene (Hoskinson) Rollins. He was a 1964 graduate of Union High School, and retired from the former Smurfit-Stone Container as a Maintenance Supervisor after 35 years.

Tom loved to golf, and he enjoyed going to the casinos in Wheeling, WV and Washington, PA. He always enjoyed his time spent camping at Dillon Dam and Lake Park, and mornings at Ronnie’s Restaurant in Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barb (Bolen) Rollins of Warsaw, whom he married May 17, 1969; a daughter, Kim (Nick) Williams of Warsaw; grandchildren Kael & Roslynn Williams and Sariah & Braedyn Burns; his mother-in-law, Edith Bolen of Warsaw; two sisters-in-law, Betty Rollins of California, and Nell Yeager of West Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Bob (Barb) Bolen of Folly Beach, NC, and Donnie (Sandy) Bolen of Newark; several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Rollins, who died Feb. 7, 1990; a daughter, April Rollins, who died Jan. 23, 1995; and two brothers, Chuck Rollins and Bob Yeager.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Wes George officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9th at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
