Richard C. Henderson
February 19, 1945 – November 18, 2018
Ric leaves behind brothers Stephen (Lee) St. Paris, OH; Todd, Cincinnati, OH; sister LeeAnn Tomko (George), North Royalton, OH. His parents Robert and MaryLee Henderson preceded him in death. Ric moved to Brimfield, OH to Chattanooga, TN to Daytona Beach Shores, where he lived his last many years. He graduated from Coshocton High 1963 and Kent State after serving in the US Army.
He volunteered extensively in the Chattanooga and Daytona areas and served on several boards such as Big Brothers, American Heart Assoc., Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Ormund Beach MainStreet.
Ric spent many years in the real estate industry from Akron, Chatanooga to Daytona. He had started up a couple of businesses such as his beloved Patriotic House where he sold American made items but mainly flags.
One of his favorite things to do in the evening was to sit on beach with Mike and sip his Jameson. He will be fondly missed by his friends, close neighbors and siblings.
