Mary E. (Duncan) Lacy
DRESDEN – Mary E. (Duncan) Lacy, 80, of Dresden, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018.
Mary was born in Conesville on Sept. 22, 1938 to the late Alfred and Blanche (Worthington) Duncan. On Oct. 14, 1956, Mary married Laird “Larry” Lacy, who preceded her in death on July 10, 2003. Together, Mary and Larry started their business, Lacy’s Meats, and it became a very important part of her life. She was also very family-oriented and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her three children: Rodney (Kim) Lacy, Amy Ann (Andy) Crawford, and Richard (Sheri) Lacy; five grandchildren: Bryan (Heidi) Lacy, Shannon (Scott Hawley) Crawford, Brittney (David) Haberman, Logan (Renae) Lacy, and Cale Lacy; six great-grandchildren: Ben, Jackson, Gracelyn, Emilia, Reid, and Titus; one sister, Wilma Richcreek, one brother, Don (Janet) Duncan, and one sister-in-law, Carol Duncan.
Along with her husband and parents, Mary is preceded in death by her three brothers, Wayne, Bill, and Charlie Duncan.
Per Mary’s request, a private funeral service will be held and she will be laid to rest with her husband at South Lawn Cemetery.
