John F. Blair

COSHOCTON – John F. Blair, 88, of Coshocton passed away at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

John was born on the family farm in Coshocton on June 4, 1930 to the late Frank & Ruth (Renner) Blair.

He graduated from West Lafayette High School and retired from the local Chevy dealership in Coshocton where he worked in service, parts and sales. John is a past member of the West Lafayette Lions Club, he also enjoyed his time with his family boating, camping, fishing and time with his wife Patty in Florida.

John is survived by his wife Patricia “Patty” Blair whom he married January 21, 1950; one daughter Jonalee Bruening of Coshocton; a brother Larry (Judy) Blair of West Lafayette; four grandchildren Heather Bruening, Hillary Foster, Matt (Lindy) Blair and John (Frhonda) Blair; nine great grandchildren Olivia, Evan, Ethan, Lukas, Bella, Grace, Henry, Hazel and Lydia; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Timothy “Tim” Blair and a brother Gene Blair.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday January 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
