Janice E. Mardis

WEST LAFAYETTE – Janice E. Mardis, age 66, of West Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 15, 1952 to the late Russell Bradford and Jeannette (Dolick) Mardis in Coshocton. She was a 1970 graduate of Ridgewood High School. She retired from Pretty Products after 33 years. On February 16, 1980, she married Terry Mardis, who survives. She loved to read and also enjoyed taking weekend trips with her husband.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Tammy (Joseph) Stepp of Frazeysburg, William (Giselle) Moore Jr. of New York and Jason (Sophia) Mardis of McConnelsville; two step grandchildren, Helena Cross and Isabella Kirk-Gulley; siblings, Diana Kirker of West Lafayette and Randy (Viola) Bradford of Newcomerstown as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Danny and sister-in-law, Dolly Bradford and brother-in-law, Raymond Kirker.

Calling hours will be at the Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 1pm with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Interim Hospice at 499 S. 2nd Street, Coshocton, Oh 43812.
