Speakers share knowledge at Tiverton Community Institute
TIVERTON – The Tiverton Community Hall was packed Wednesday morning March 6, for informative presentations by Emily Adams and Ken Smailes, which were part of the Tiverton Community Institute’s schedule of events.
Adams, the OSU Extension County Director, Extension Educator, Ag & Natural Resources, shared agriculture facts with the crowd and explained some of the many programs and classes that her office offers to the community. When she was done speaking, Smailes from WTNS Radio and a local historian, gave a presentation called, “Beyond the Walls, Main Street Coshocton Comes Alive.”
The Tiverton Community Institute is one of the last two day institutes in Ohio and includes presentations, contests, music and community meals.
