UTV accident with injuries reported
COSHOCTON – On April 28, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 transfer from Licking County advising of an ATV accident involving a juvenile in the 19000 block of County Road 18. Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a UTV went off the road and over corrected, causing the UTV to roll onto its side and slide into the ditch. A 12 year old passenger was pinned under the UTV for a short period of time until a neighbor was able to free him. A 14 year old female and a 5 year old female juvenile were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The 12 year old male was flown to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Assisting deputies at the scene was the Walhonding Valley Fire District, Coshocton County EMS and Medflight.
