Jo Ann Goodwin
COSHOCTON – Jo Ann Goodwin, 82, of Coshocton passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
Jo Ann was born in Jackson, Ohio on December 13, 1937 to the late Emry and Audrey (Leach) Channell. She was a homemaker throughout her life, worked for the Census Bureau and Ponderosa. Jo Ann and her husband owned and operated the Linwood Motel for numerous years here in Coshocton. She was also a member of the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Coshocton.
She is survived by her devoted husband David L. Goodwin who she married October 17, 1959; children David (Kathy) Goodwin of Atlanta, Jennifer (Martin) Hayes of Coshocton and Andrea (James C. Miller) Goodwin of West Lafayette; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother Bill (Betty) Channell of Cambridge; two sisters Shirley Waugh of Jackson and Kathy Burgett of Gahanna; numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bob Channell; sister Linda Ervin; one infant brother and sister.
A memorial service for Jo Ann will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
