Man thrown from motorcycle on SR 206
COSHOCTON – On May 19, at approximately 1:33 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle accident in the area of SR 206 close to the county line. Upon arrival of sheriff’s deputies it was determined that Nathanael D. Thomas, 29, of Marion, had been traveling northbound on SR 206 on his 2005 Honda CBR motorcycle, when he went off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch.
Thomas was thrown from his motorcycle and into the ditch. Thomas sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident and was flown from the scene by Med-flight to Akron General Hospital. Thomas was wearing a helmet and speed is a factor in the accident.
Assisting at the scene was Walhonding Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS and Med Flight.
This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
