Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for July 16, 2019

On July 15, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 5 (s) and 7 complaint(s).

Accidents:

8:18 A.M.  Larry Kaufman and Nate Jones were involved in an accident on State Route 16.

 

11:35 A.M.  Angela Reed of West Virginia ran a red light on US 36 and struck Gary Smith Jr. of Columbus.

 

3:26 P.M.  Jason Matthews of Coshocton was unable to stop in time for a red light at the intersection of North 2nd Street and Chestnut Street when he struck Sheila McCullough of Coshocton causing her to strike Rex Watson Jr. of West Lafayette.

 

7:14 P.M.  Thomas Burris of Coshocton left the road to the right and was airborne over County Road 207 then rolled into the corn field.

 

7:59 P.M.  Edward Dickerson of Coshocton was southbound on South 6th Street when he failed to yield at the intersection and struck Ricky Smith Jr. of Coshocton.

 

Complaints:

9:37 A.M.  Julie Vickers of Coshocton reported someone broke into her vehicle on South 2nd Street and stole change.

 

10:16 A.M.  Greg Moyer reported the theft of his vehicle in the 300 block of Hamilton Avenue.

 

11:14 A.M.  A Coshocton man reported identity theft.

 

2:30 P.M.  Charles Nolan of Coshocton reported items being stolen from his residence in the 56000 block of County Road 5.

 

2:31 P.M.  Chandra Poorman of Coshocton reported a male breaking into her neighbor’s vehicle in the 300 block of North 9th Street.  Joe Davis was arrested for theft.

 

3:00 P.M.  A rental property was broken into and contents were taken in the 44000 block of County Road 58.

 

7:30 P.M.  A Coshocton woman reported a male subject jumped on her car, smashed her windshield with his foot while she was driving in the 600 block of Chestnut Street.
