Interim Healthcare celebrates new location on Third Street

COSHOCTON – Interim Healthcare’s new office is a perfect example of two Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce members working together.
When Cindi Harriman, branch manager for Interim, was looking for a new space she contacted Amy Stockdale, executive director of the chamber.
“She called and asked what I could do to help and we made it happened,” Stockdale said. “I knew a person in the community that was willing to invest.”
John Sutton from Sutton Construction purchased the building at 450 N. Third St. and had it ready for Interim to move into at the end of March.
“Two chamber members partnered and made a difference in our economic development,” Stockdale said.
The new space, which Interim is renting from Sutton, took the business from its 3,000 square foot office in the Downtowner Plaza to its current 3,600 square feet.
“We had just outgrown our former space so much,” Harriman said. “Hopefully this will allow us to grow even more. It does a lot for morale too. So many people are so excited just to have windows.”
Interim has 15 people working in its office and 125 working in the field, which includes aides and LPNs. When Harriman first started here with the company in 1999 it was only herself, one other office person and half a dozen to a dozen aides.
Now that the current employees have had time to settle in, the move was officially celebrated with an open house and ribbon cutting on July 31.
“We are a resource for people,” Stockdale said. “They (Interim) knew to call us, but there are still people who don’t. My job is to connect chamber members to other chamber members and benefits. There are people in the community who want to invest and businesses that need to grow. We can help connect them.”
