On August 4, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 3 (s) and 4 complaint(s).

Accidents:

1:25 A.M.  Harold Stapleton was traveling east on State Route 715 when he struck a deer.

 

1:40 A.M.  Kevin Hook Jr. was backing out of a parking space when he backed into a parked vehicle and caused minor damage.

 

7:58 A.M.  Donald Woolf of Mt. Vernon has just entered US 36 off of State Route 229 when he was traveling on US 36 and due to the sun in his eyes he struck the rear of Ivan Yoder of Howard.

 

Complaints:

3:56 A.M.  Joshua Bratton was charged with criminal damaging and trespassing.

 

8:43 A.M.  Cassandra Cairati reported a burglary.

 

5:15 P.M.  Brandi Pennington reported one of her tires had been cut on her vehicle. Upon investigation Joseph Chanay of Coshocton was arrested and charged with criminal damaging and criminal mischief.

 

10:15 P.M.  Jeff Shrimplin reported being assaulted.
