Pomerene Center kicking off fall with fun events

| September 4, 2019

COSHOCTON – They say that music is the language of the soul, and nothing could be truer for Indie Alt-Rocker, Evan Abood. Abood will be performing solo and you can expect an energetic, soulful performance during the Pomerene Center for the Arts Rent Party on Friday, Sept. 6.

Make a reservation by calling 740-622-0326 or e-mail pomerenearts@gmail.com. Coffee and water will be provided, but you can bring your own beverage and snacks.

Rent Parties are held in an effort to relieve stress on the Pomerene Center’s monthly budget. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. on First Friday evenings, September-April and guests will hear great acoustic music while having a great time. Suggested donation is $10 at the door.

This fall children and families also can enjoy scarecrow art workshops. The workshop for children in grades kindergarten through sixth will be held from Sept. 9-30 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Pomerene Center. Cost is $25 per scarecrow. All supplies included. The one time family workshops will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday mornings in the artPARK. Supplies are included and cost is $25. Registration is required for both events. Call 740-622-0326 or e-mail pomerenearts@gmail.com.
