Accident with injuries reported

COSHOCTON – On Thursday, Oct. 10, at approximately 6:13 a.m., The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an injury accident in the area of Lyons Curve on CR 16.  Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a vehicle driven by Michelle Allen of West Lafayette was traveling westbound when she went off the right side of the road. The vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned several times before coming to a rest on its top. Allen was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to the Coshocton Regional Medical Center and later flown by MedFlight to OSU. Her condition is not known at the time of this release. The accident remains under investigation.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office on the scene was Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Police Dept., West Lafayette Volunteer Fire Dept, and Princes Wrecker Service.
