Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for January 29, 2020

On January 28, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 3 (s) and 6 complaint(s).

Accidents:

6:54 P.M.  Tim Ott of Coshocton called the Sheriff’s Office to report that someone hit his vehicle in front of his house.

 

9:33 P.M.  Teresa Cottrell of Coshocton was traveling west on CR 58 when she drove off the left side of the road and struck a parked car.  She then fled the scene but was located a short time later a few miles down the road on CR 58. Upon investigation it was determined that Mrs. Cottrell’s driver’s license was suspended at the time of the crash.  She was cited for driving under suspension, fail to control and leaving the scene of an accident.

 

9:52 P.M.  Phillip Oxley of Coshocton was traveling northbound on State Route 643 when he lost control, went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Complaints:

8:19 A.M.  Thomas Ungurean of Coshocton was arrested for a warrant.

 

12:16 P.M.  An illegal dump site was located behind the old Muskingum Valley Lumber on Eat Main Street.

 

1:09 P.M.  Luther Whitmire of Coshocton reported someone broke into his residence in the  800 block of South Lawn and some other items were stolen.

 

1:25 P.M.  William Dempsey of Coshocton was arrested for domestic violence.

 

2:51 P.M.  Madeline Wisenburg of Coshocton reported a fraud of her bank account.

 

7:02 P.M.  Melissa Allen from Valero called the Sheriff’s Office to report someone was trying to pass fake money.
