Pavilion to host NWTF banquet
The 31st annual banquet for the Muskingum Valley Chapter NWTF will be held Saturday, March 7 at Coshocton Lake Park Pavilion. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. For tickets or more information, call Dwaine Scheetz 740-622-9063.
The 2019 banquet was another huge success with an attendance of 300. Because of the great support, the chapter was able to award a Jakes Scholarship to Caleb Maddox. It supported youth exhibiting and selling turkeys at the Coshocton County Fair thru the junior fair auction and continued with Jakes Day programs.
Monetary donations were made to The New Life Ministry and Hunters Feeding the Hungry to help provide for those in the area who are less fortunate. The chapter also assisted in obtaining NWTF SuperFund money for the River View FFA Trap Team, River View Archery Team and River View Sixth Grade Camp.
