Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for February 24, 2020

On February 23, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 2 (s) and 8 complaint(s).

Accidents:

1:10 A.M.  Jeff Jay of Coshocton reported someone struck his wife’s parked vehicle and left the scene.

 

4:37 P.M.  A two vehicle non-injury crash was reported in the 16000 block of SR 60.

 

Complaints:

10:22 A.M.  Adams Township residents reported damage to their mailboxes.

 

11:43 A.M.  Sandra Sharier of Coshocton reported her 2005 Chrysler minivan was taken from Lafayette Township Road 159 overnight.

 

12:13 P.M.  A female was in the station to report being threatened sometime last night.

 

12:38 P.M.  Devin Bradford of Coshocton reported being threatened while at the Army-navy.

 

1:21 P.M.  Rochelle Moore of Coshocton reported the violation of a protection order against Shecara Edwards of Zanesville.

 

5:21 P.M.  A deputy attempted a traffic stop on an offroad vehicle traveling westbound on Otsego Avenue. The suspect vehicle fled, failing to stop for the signal of a Peace Officer.  After a short pursuit, the vehicle failed to make a left hand turn off of Papermill Road onto CR 271, where it came to a rest on its side. The vehicle was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger.  No injuries were reported. Josiah Buzzard of Coshocton was cited for reckless operation, fail to stop at a stop sign, no license plates and failure to comply with the signal of a Peace Officer.

 

8:08 P.M.  Paul Sandbrink of Coshocton reported that someone trespassed on his property.

 

10:16 P.M.  Angela Tumblin of Coshocton was cited for a speed at Chestnut and 14th Street.
