Stay at home order to remain in effect until May 1
On Monday, April 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. the amended Stay at Home Order from the Ohio Department of Health goes into effect and will remain in effect until May 1, 2020. EMA asks that all Coshocton County citizens comply with this order and only travel when necessary for groceries, supplies, to receive medical care, take care of another or for essential work. All non-essential businesses are to remain closed. Every citizen plays a vital role in the fight against COVID-19. Be kind, courteous, and patient with each other. We are all in this together.

Actions for Citizens
Please refer to official sources for accurate information about what is being accomplished in the fight against COVID-19. There are many untrue rumors and misinformation that can hinder our ability to provide important information that the citizens of Coshocton County needs.
Check on your neighbors. Help one another out as we all go through this difficult time. Be patient and kind to one another.
To prevent the spread of the disease the CDC encourages everyone to follow these effective practices:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer only if soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching you eyes nose and mouth
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing
- Avoid contact with sick people
- Stay home when you are sick
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects – doorknobs, light switches, keyboards, etc.
