RSVP for a virtual Buckeye visit day at Ohio State Newark

The Ohio State University at Newark is offering virtual Buckeye Visit Days this summer for all high school students and recent high school graduates to learn about how Ohio State Newark offers pathways to an Ohio State degree.

Virtual Buckeye Visit Days will be conducted via Zoom and include: an admissions overview, faculty interviews, information on financial aid and scholarships, student clubs and organizations, learning communities, housing, study abroad, honors and much more. Summer Buckeye Visit Days (via Zoom*) are: Thursday, June 18 – 6:30-8:15 p.m. and Thursday, July 23 – 6:30-8:15 p.m.

Students can begin any of Ohio State’s 200+ majors at Ohio State Newark and after completing 30 credits hours with a 2.0 GPA can transition seamlessly to the Columbus campus. Ohio State Newark also offers nine undergraduate majors which can be completed entirely on the Newark campus. Ohio State Newark’s 200-acre campus, comprised of 11 buildings and expansive green space, is located 39 miles east of the Ohio State Columbus campus.

The Ohio State University is committed to making the cost of a college degree affordable. In addition to costing nearly 30 percent less than the Columbus campus, Newark campus students are eligible for the Ohio State Tuition Guarantee, Buckeye Opportunity Program and President’s Affordability Grant.
