Eleanor Jane Thomas (Johnston)
Eleanor Jane Thomas (Johnston), 80, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home. She was born August 5, 1939 to the late Richard W. and Letha M. (Ford) Johnston.
Eleanor retired from KRAFT Foods in 2002. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling and crocheting. On June 28, 1958 she married Donald L. Thomas who preceded her in death.
Eleanor is survived by her two sons, Scott (Barbara Mardis) Thomas and Jerry (Michelle) Thomas; daughter April (Erik) Franks; four grandchildren, Christopher Truex, James (Karla) Thomas, Wendy Thomas, and Jaden Thomas; two step grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one step great grandchild; sister Marilyn Gonter; brother-in-law Charles Spang.
Along with her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Thomas; sister and twin brother.
Per Eleanor’s request there will no services and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements for the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
