4 taken into custody in reference to armed robbery incident

On July 4, 2020, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to a 17 year old male being the victim of an armed robbery. Deputies and detectives began investigating the incident.

On July 7, 2020 detectives and deputies took four adults into custody in reference to this incident. They also executed search warrants on residences on Seventh Street in the City of Coshocton, a residence in the Common’s Apartments in West Lafayette and a vehicle believed to be used in the incident.  Several items were seized in the execution of the search warrants, including two handguns.

On July 8, 2020, these four adults were each formally served charges in relation to this incident and remain in the Coshocton County Justice Center. Kacia R. A. Eckelberry, 20 years old and from the West Lafayette area, was formally charged with Aggravated Robbery, a Felony of the First Degree. Tamarkis T. Williams, 23 years old and from the Dover area, was formally charged with Aggravated Robbery, a Felony of the First Degree. Elijah S. Byrd, 21 years old and from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with Aggravated Robbery, a Felony of the First Degree. Kire E. Page, 19 years old and from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with Aggravated Robbery, a Felony of the First Degree. Additional charges are anticipated after the case has been reviewed by the Coshocton County Prosecutor.

Assisting the sheriff’s office with this investigation is the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and West Lafayette Police.

This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
