Highway patrol to have bigger presence in town

At the Sept. 14 Coshocton City Council meeting, Mayor Mark Mills announced that due to issues of speeding on the streets of Coshocton and the sheriff’s office being in a state of transition at the moment, he has chosen to allow State Highway Patrol officers to monitor speeding in town. Therefore, residents should not be surprised should they see State Highway Patrol vehicles and officers in town or stopping residents who are not abiding by the law.
