Scholarly chat with Dr. Scott Butler scheduled

Join the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 6-8 p.m. for an annual favorite: A Scholarly Chat with Dr. Scott Butler. Butler will present based on his upcoming book. The topic is based on 16,000 years of frontier history of Coshocton. At the conclusion of the talk, the winners of the 2020 Mary Harris Prizes for non-fiction writing will be announced and awards presented (if the recipient is present). This event will take place on Zoom. Email jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org to register a spot. Even though the admission is free, you must register to receive the Zoom link. The lecture will be recorded for later viewing at www.jhmuseum.org.

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton. Support for this program has been provided by Ohio Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the federal CARES Act of 2020. The Ohio Arts Council also helped fund this event with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
