Sandra Kay Williams

Sandra Kay Williams, 79, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020. She was born on Dec. 13, 1940 to the late George and Kathleen (Ford) Hardesty.

After high school, Sandy married John F. Williams on March 28, 1959 and they spent 61 wonderful years together.

Sandy faithfully served at the Coshocton Nazarene Church as a youth sponsor, Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, was a soloist and served as the church treasurer for 22 years under Pastor Steve Ward. She enjoyed giving to ministries throughout the world. She also worked for many years alongside her husband as the secretary for Oil Field Services Incorporated. Sandy enjoyed shopping and most of all spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, John; their five children, Jonna Kay (Tom) Darland of Iowa, Greg E. (Ana) Williams of Illinois, Craig E. (Tracy) Williams of Tennessee,  Donis J. (Patty) Williams of West Virginia and Dennis R.  (Jamie) Williams of Coshocton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry (Ruth) Hardesty of Coshocton, Gary (Glenda) Hardesty of Coshocton and Dennis (Janet) Hardesty of Coshocton; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, 1058 Orange St., Coshocton and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Steve Ward and Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Sandy’s sister-in-law, Irene Krall, Pam Raber,  Laurie Celeschi and Patty Fischer and a very special thanks to Betsy Moody for all her loving kindness and assistance to Sandy and her husband; along with Interim Hospice and the many friends who came and helped with compassion, love and care.
