Local history room to temporarily close

| November 24, 2020

The Local History Room in the Coshocton Public Library will be temporarily closed beginning Dec. 1 and remain closed until further notice.

Due to the quarantining of items, materials in the room are not guaranteed to be available. The purpose of closing the room is to limit access to staff so they can answer questions without having to quarantine large portions of the collection. This will help expedite staff response time and prevent visitors from discovering the materials they need are in quarantine upon arrival.

Genealogy requests can be submitted by emailing coshgen@coshoctonlibrary.org. Local history requests can be submitted by emailing info@coshoctonlibrary.org or by calling 740-622-0956.
