Melvin ‘Mel’ England

Melvin “Mel” England, 77, of Coshocton passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Wellston, Ohio on November 9, 1943 to the late Walter England and Lois (Harper) Welker.

Mel graduated from Coshocton High School in 1961 and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1961-1964.  After the military he was a Truck Driver.  He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge 761.

Mel is survived by his three children Mark England of Circleville, James T. (Tiffany) England of Columbus, and Kelly Hahn of Newark; three granddaughters; and his sister Judy Bloser of Nashville, TN.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Chuck Welker.

Per Mel’s wishes there will be no services and a cremation will take place.  The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
