Carole Joy Mitchell
Carole Joy Mitchell, 80, of Coshocton, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020. She was born in Muskingum County on Dec. 23, 1939, to the late Fred and Mamie (Clark) Schlosser.
Carole worked for Tiffin Developmental Center for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Coshocton Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing word searches, cooking, reading and time on the computer.
She is survived by her two daughters, five granddaughters, several great-grandchildren, sister, Beverly McElfresch, special niece, Ellen Morris, along with several other nieces and nephews and very special friend, Carolynn Lewis.
Along with her parents, Carole is preceded in death by seven siblings, Fred, Marilyn, Patricia, Willard, Kenneth, Crystal and Larry.
Per Carole’s wishes, a cremation will take place with burial of cremains held at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
