New virtual preschool program offered at JHM

| January 5, 2021

Preschoolers and their adult assistants are invited to create masterpieces virtually with Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum staff. Each week participants will learn about a famous artist, look at their artwork, and create their own artwork in the same style.

They will have bags with supplies for participants to pick-up. They will then put videos with a story, a lesson plan about the artist, and step-by-step instructions on how to make your own masterpiece. They will email the video to those who sign up for the class, and they will also put them on YouTube and on the website.

The artists they will be looking at change each week. The schedule is: Jan. 14 – Piet Mondrian; Jan. 21 – Gustav Klimt; Jan. 28 – Georges Seurat.

This program is generously sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council.

Space is limited. Register by filling out this form: http://www.jhmuseum.org/little-artists.html or by emailing jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org or calling 740-622-8710.
