James Allen Bailey

James Allen Bailey, 64, of Coshocton passed away at his home in Coshocton on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. James was born in Coshocton, Ohio on Sept. 14, 1956 to the late Frank and Mary (Sibert) Bailey.

He graduated from River View High School and worked at Stone Container for many years before opening Turkey Hollow Sporting Clays in Coshocton in 2003. He devoted most of his time working on his family farm, being outdoors, and his true passion hunting.  James was also a proud member of the National Rifle Association.

James is survived by his daughters Billie Quesenberry of Akron, Brittany (Trevor) Warne of Cambridge, and Katelin Bailey of Coshocton; one son Timothy Bailey of Battle Creek, MI; 8 grandchildren; siblings Bonnie Boylan of Coshocton, Judy (Art Jr.) Hill of Cleveland Heights and Jessie Crook of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, is preceded in death by two sisters Mary Whitehawk and Barbara King; brother Robert Bailey Sr.; brothers in law Jack Whitehawk, Carter Boylan, Jon King and Tom Crook.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. A cremation will take place following the services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Rifle Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Due to Covid-19, we are requiring visitors coming to the funeral home to wear their own face masks and we will be limiting the number of attendees inside the building.
