Young Redskins pick up road win

The Coshocton Redskin’s seventh grade basketball team traveled to Meadowbrook on Jan. 30. Coshocton came away with a 36-19 win. The visitors took control in the first quarter and never looked back. The score after the first quarter was 11-2, the halftime the score was 24-7 and at the end of third quarter was 25-14.

A total of seven Redskins scored. The leading scorers for Coshocton were Aiden Garabrandt with nine, Quinten Summer had eight, Parker Loomis had six, Kabe Bylaw had five, Jace Dickerson had four, and rounding out the scoring was Braylon Williams and Taven Dotson with two each. Every player on the team contributed to the win. Defensively, Cash Ramsey, Kabe Bylaw, and Branden Watts held Meadowbrook’s J Burris to eight points.
