David Warren Goedel
David Warren Goedel, 80, of Newcomerstown, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 after a short illness.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1941, to the late Willis and Mabel (Schnitzer) Goedel in Sugarcreek, OH. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, cooking, playing cards, and camping.
He is survived by a daughter, Jamie (Tim) Schwab of Bakersville; three sons, Eric (Amy) Goedel of Fresno, Bruce (Wanda) Goedel of Strasburg, and Matthew (Jennifer) Goedel of Fresno; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney (Linda) Goedel and Jeffrey (Jacki) Goedel, both of Fresno; and special friend, Corrine Doege of North Canton.
Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with graveside services to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in David’s name to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
