Sheriff Office Report for February 19, 2021

On February 18th, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 3 Accidents and 5 Complaints. 

Accidents:

  • Gage Thomas of Zanesville was Eastbound on County Road 429, when he went through the intersection of State Route 83, lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment.
  • Brittani Mellor of Coshocton was traveling Eastbound on US. Route 36, just west of Township Road 509, when she lost control of her vehicle, went off the right side of the roadway, went over an embankment and rolled her car.
  • Patricia Wherley of Nellie was traveling Westbound of US Route 36, near Spring Street in Warsaw, when she went off the left side of the road and struck a sign.

Complaints: 

  • Ashley Mills of Coshocton was cited for marked lanes, excessive tint and driving under suspension
  • Mark McCombs JR. of West Lafayette, struck an ATM machine at People’s Bank.
  • John Buzzard of Warsaw reported his parked vehicle was struck by a vehicle that was being operated by Joseph Poland of Warsaw, while parked at Lity’s Scrap Yard.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Sleepy Hollow Drive and South 13th Street for a possible overdose. After arrival of Deputies and Coshocton County EMS, Greg Wheeler and Quantesha Carlton were transported to the ER.
  • Fred Staser of Warsaw reported fraud.
