On Feb. 26 the Black Bears traveled to Zanesville to compete for a spot in the Division I Boys State Bowling Championship.
In a valiant effort the Black Bears came away seventh overall with a lot of tough competition. Finishing fifth overall and leading the Black Bears was Austin LeBeau with a 577 series. Finishing 14th overall and helping the Black Bears was TJ Crosby with a 534 series.
