Lola Irene Endsley

Lola Irene Endsley, 100, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. She was born on April 2, 1920 in Warsaw, Ohio, to the late Everett and Margaret (Ashcraft) Foster.

Lola was a graduate of Warsaw High School. On Feb. 14, 1946, after World War II Lola married Lister Endsley who preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2018. Lola and Lister were fortunate to enjoy nearly 73 years of marriage. Lola and Lister spent most of their married life on farms in Millcreek and Keene townships. Lola was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family.

Lola was a member of Keene United Methodist Church, Keene Hill Grange, and Coshocton County Farm Bureau. She was an advisor for the Keene Hill and Valley Girls 4-H Club. She was a 4-H project judge for Coshocton and the surrounding counties. She was very active in women’s group such as the Happy Neighbors Club, the Chapel Bells, and the Gourmet Gals Recipe Club. She enjoyed cooking and baking and won many awards at the Coshocton County Fair. Lola was the 2008 Coshocton County Sr. Canal Day’s Queen.

She is survived by her three children, Larry (Tina) Endsley of Coshocton, Linda (Craig) Woods of Marietta, and Rodney Endsley of Dover; seven grandchildren, Jocelyn (Rob) Mulvaney of Hilliard, Chad (Katy) Endsley of Baltimore, Todd (Leanne) Endsley of Coshocton, Evan Woods of Sandy Shores, Texas, Shawn (Jessica ) Woods of Williamstown, West Virginia,  Michael (Rachel) Fearon of Greenville, and Ashley (Shawn) Ellwood of New Philadelphia, 16 great-grandchildren, Noelle, Kinsley and Reed Mulvaney, Caroline, Lily and Austin Endsley, Adalynn, Grayson, Eloise and Ethan Endsley,  Claire and Audrey Woods, Madelyn, Seth and Edee Fearon and Kayne and Karter Ellwood; and one sister, Doris Hughes of New Philadelphia.

Along with her parents and husband, Lola is preceded in death by her great-grandson, Koby Fearon.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Keene United Methodist Church in Keene, Ohio. A private funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hours at the church. Burial will be at the North Keene Cemetery.
