Roger A. Conkle

Roger A. Conkle, 67, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born in Coshocton on Nov. 24, 1953 to the late Ernest Sr. and Wilma June (Matchett) Conkle.

Roger graduated from River View High School. He worked in construction and as a truck driver and retired from Coshocton Trucking in 2016. Roger enjoyed volunteering at RUMC Community Meals and helping his friends. He was a great fisherman and mushroom hunter.

Roger is survived by his son, David L. Conkle; daughter, Ashley Reedus; grandchildren, Emma Christene Conkle, and Braeden, Trenton, and Amyah Reedus; brother, Ernest (Kay) Conkle; sister, Shirley Norris; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his baby brother, Darrell Conkle and brother-in-law, Edward Norris.

Per Roger’s wishes there will be no services and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
