David William Newell
David William Newell, 73 of Coshocton, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1947, in Coshocton, to the late Grover and Bernice (Nealey) Newell.
On June 8, 1965, he married Katha (Scharon) Newell who survives.
David worked for Clow for over 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his loving wife, Katha, of 55 years; his three children, Jeffrey (Robin Villers) Newell of Killbuck, Nancy (John) Larntz of Coshocton, and Rebecca Newell of Coshocton; nine grandchildren, Amber, Jeffrey, Joseph, George, Stephen, Stephanie, James, Mystic and Samantha; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Joy Newell and siblings, Bonnie, Jane, Grover and Robert.
Per David’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
