Sheriff Office Report for March 16, 2021

On March 15th, the Sheriff Office investigated 5 Accidents and 7 Complaints. 

Accidents:

  • Matthew Wright of Coshocton was cited fir driving under suspension and assured cleared distance ahead from a non-injury accident at the intersection of US 36 and State Route 83.
  • Barry Elmer of Newcomerstown was backing a truck into a barn on County Road 254, Oxford Township, when he struck a parked truck that was operated by Dustin Gregory of Coshocton.

  • Jessica Brooks of Coshocton was backing into a parking space in the 500 block of North Fifteenth Street, when she struck a vehicle driven by Heather Unger of Coshocton, who had pulled over to allow another vehicle through.
  • Spencer Nine of Warsaw was pulling through the drive thru at Hardees, when he acclerated and hit the rear of a vehicle being driven by Andrea Powelson of Newcomerstown.

Complaints: 

  • An illegal dump was located along County Road 24, by Township Road 26 in Keene Township.
  • An Adams Township business reported the theft of equipment from their property. Kelly Payne of Bethlehem Township reported an unemployment fraud.
  • Lance Lauvray of Coshocton reported unemployment fraud.
  • Jessica Mencer of Coshocton reported unemployment fruad.
  • Mitchell Fry of Coshocton reported a fraud.
  • Elizabeth McMorrow reported a theft in the 200 block of North Whitewoman Street.
