Rust Decor celebrated its new location and new owners with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 12.
The business located at 115 S. Sixth St. in Coshocton is owned by Jill and Kevin Sheridan, who moved it from its previous location on Walnut Street.
“Jill and Kevin have done an amazing job with this brand-new location,” said Amy Crown, executive director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a beautiful business.”
Rust Decor offers products by a variety of vendors that are reclaimed, upcycled, salvaged or transformed.
Mayor Mark Mills was happy to see another business open downtown. “The more reasons we can give people to stay downtown, the more ways we can build off of one another,” he said. “Welcome to downtown.”
Tiffany Swigert, executive director of the Coshocton Port Authority, also was excited to see the new store. “The port authority couldn’t be more excited to be a small part of your vision,” she said.
The Sheridans were very appreciative of everyone’s kind comments.
“Our contractors took the visions in my head and made the store exactly what I wanted,” Jill Sheridan said.
