Accident with injuries reported

CONESVILLE – On Aug. 18 at 8:40 p.m., dispatch received several 911 calls of a single vehicle accident on Marquand Avenue in Conesville. While enroute to the accident, firefighters on scene advised that there was a male trapped in the vehicle and there were live power lines on the ground. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that a male driver was traveling south on Marquand Avenue when he had a seizure causing him to lose control of his vehicle and strike a parked car as well as power pole. After being successfully extricated from the vehicle, the male was flown to OSU Medical Center in Columbus for treatment of his injuries. Assisting deputies at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Conesville Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire District, Prince’s Wrecker Service, MedFlight, and AEP. This accident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
