Activity kits for senior adults available at library

| September 6, 2022

A new special collection for senior adults is now available at the Coshocton Public Library. The collection consists of three activity kits designed for seniors who may be experiencing cognitive decline and/or Alzheimer’s or dementia. While this group is the targeted demographic, the kits are developed to accommodate all adults. Each kit includes activities and resources intended to support brain function, memory recall, and fine-motor skills, along with supportive literature for caretakers if needed.

The themes of the kits include Retro Entertainment, Traveling the U.S.A., and Colors of the World. The kits are available at the Coshocton Public Library for adults with Coshocton Public library cards. To apply for a free library card, a photo ID and proof of current address are needed.

For more information about this new collection, stop in the library, call 740-622-0956, or email adultprograms@coshoctonlibrary.org.
