Actors needed for Roscoe Village anniversary celebration

| October 30, 2018

COSHOCTON – The Footlight Players are collaborating with Roscoe Village in its celebration of the 50 year anniversary of the restoration of Roscoe to be held next summer. They are searching for people to portray Ed Montgomery, the Coshoctonian largely responsible for spearheading and funding the restoration, and Nancy Lowe Lonsinger, who served as village historian and reporter during the 70s.

Actors chosen to play these roles would be responsible for delivering a 10-15 minute presentation twice on July 20, 2019 as either Mr. Montgomery or Mrs. Lonsinger.  The research and talking points will be provided and/or actors will be invited to conduct research on their own. Actors will be compensated through Roscoe Village.

Interested parties may e-mail cfpreservations@gmail.com to request a copy of the character introduction for them to present during auditions at the Lock Landing,  (in the lower level of Roscoe Visitor Center) Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
