Advanced cardiology care coming to Coshocton
COSHOCTON – Dr. Peter Kometiani, a cardiologist at Cardiovascular Consultants (CVC), was recently appointed as Medical Director of Cardiology at Coshocton Regional Medical Center, effective Nov. 11. Dr. Kometiani will oversee a renowned cardiology team of Aultman Hospital CVC cardiologists and specialized nurse practitioners.
The partnership with Aultman Hospital’s cardiology staff will expand cardiovascular services for the Coshocton area community. Patients can expect a seamless transition with expanded cardiovascular services including onsite provider coverage for consultations, rounding, stress-room coverage and additional cardiovascular diagnostic testing interpretation from the Aultman cardiology staff during the week.
Dr. Kometiani is fellowship-trained in cardiovascular disease and board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.
