Alice Carlene Wright
Alice Carlene Wright, 70, of Coshocton passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. She was born in Coshocton, OH on June 3, 1953 to the late Charles and Ruth (Allen) Wright.
Alice was a graduate from Coshocton High School and was a longtime member of Central Christian Church. She received her certificate as a basic EMT through the Coshocton County Joint Vocational School. Alice worked in the past as a nursing assistant at, the former, Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, Coshocton Health and Rehab Center, and Windsorwood Place. She also served as a volunteer for Coshocton EMS, as an EMT, for several years. For the past 7 years she loved her job at Hardees and the friends she made there.
Alice loved animals, having spent several years riding and showing quarter horses, “Red” and “Butch”.
Alice is survived by her “Bonus Sister”, Debie Riley-Dawson, special friend, Ken Shriver; a great niece and two great nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her for her antics and stubborn ways that made her Alice. Regardless she always offered to help anyone that needed help, no one was ever a stranger to Alice.
Graveside services will be held at New Castle Cemetery on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00pm with Rev. Phil Hunt officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Coshocton County Humane Society or the Coshocton County Animal Shelter.
