Alice M. DeMoss

Alice Marie DeMoss, 95, died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Altercare of Coshocton.

She was born Dec. 29, 1925 in Coshocton  to the late Clay and Jennie Marie (Mizer) Carnes.

Alice served as a custodian for River View Schools and owned and operated the former Grandma’s Kitchen in Warsaw.

She is survived by her children, Gary DeMoss of Warsaw, John Douglas (Mary Jo) DeMoss of Coshocton, Mike DeMoss of Seminole, FL, Jeff DeMoss of Brandon, FL, Ron DeMoss of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, Sandra Wilson of Coshocton, Linda Anderson & Debra (Paul) Baker of Mount Vernon.  13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, & some great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband,  John William DeMoss, whom she married Dec. 25, 1942, he died Oct. 15, 1987.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Beatty, Minetta Kempf, & Mary Eileen Lousoff, an infant brother, and a son-in-law, Robert Wilson.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
