Annabelle Mitchell
Annabelle Mitchell, age 95, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton. She was born on May 11, 1927 in Tyndall, Ohio to the late Leroy Wilden Sr. and Oneda (DeCoursey) Wilden. She married James Mitchell and together they spent over 50 years together till his passing in 1996. Annabelle worked at Buehler’s in the meat department and also River View High School cafeteria. She was a longtime member of the Conesville United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed giving her works of art to her family members.
Annabelle is survived by her children, Donis (Kelly) Mitchell of Zanesville and Cheryl (Chris) Jones of Coshocton; grandchildren, Carrie, Lisa, Kyle, Donis Jr., Kimberly, Lance, Briana, Seth, Brian, Joshua and Jessica; 26 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; siblings, Leroy (Juanita) Wilden and Sandra Mitchell as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Keith Mitchell and siblings, Raymond Wilden, Donna Lahna, Beatrice Walters and Alma Thompson.
Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will begin on Monday at 1pm with Pastor Phillip Wilden officiating. Burial will follow at Tyndall cemetery.
