Antique Tractor Show to be held at county fairgrounds

| July 6, 2017

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Antique Power Association will be having its 10th Annual Antique Tractor show on July 8 and 9 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. This event is free and everyone is invited.

The flag raising ceremony and the National Anthem will start the show at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The show will be open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day. This year, the Ohio 2 Cylinder Club was invited to participate and 70-80 tractors will be on display.  Most tractors will be from the 1930’s to the “modern” age of 1960’s. John Deere began the “new generation” tractors in the 1960’s when they manufactured tractors that were 4-6 cylinders instead of 2. “These tractors don’t putt along like the old ones do,” said Sam Wyler, secretary of the club.

At 1 p.m. on Sunday, there will be a kids’ pedal tractor pull. Ridgewood Young Farmers will be providing the equipment for the children and it is free to all children, aged 6 – 12. McCoy’s Real BBQ and Pit Stop Creamery will be available for food purchase during the show.

For more information, you can call Sam Wyler at 740-545-7792.
