Applicants sought for Ohio Women Veterans Advisory Committee
COLUMBUS – The Ohio Department of Veterans Services is seeking applicants for the Ohio Women Veterans Advisory Committee.
The Ohio Department of Veterans Services strives to ensure that the voices of Ohio’s 67,000 women veterans are heard. ODVS Director Chip Tansill appoints a committee of engaged and knowledgeable women veterans to provide advice, counsel and input on issues, opportunities and programs impacting Ohio women veterans.
Members must attend 60 percent of the meetings. Quarterly meetings are generally held at 11 am on Fridays in Central Ohio and last about 90 minutes.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and a resume or biography for Director Tansill’s consideration. Deadline is Friday, Feb. 2.
