MT. PERRY – April Ann Johnson, 50, died unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born April 14, 1969 in Tulsa, OK to the late Walter J.C. and Judy (Jacobski) Johnson. She was formerly an entry operator for Crown Closures Machinery in Lancaster.

April loved her dog, “Shadow”, being outdoors, going to the camper in the valley, riding motorcycles, writing poems, and reading. First and foremost was her love for her grandsons.

She is survived by her boyfriend of many years, Rick Stapleton of Mt. Perry; her daughter, Samantha (Aaron) Little of Baltimore; two grandsons, Brody & Junior Little; a brother, Jake Johnson of Columbus; a sister, Tammy (Randy) Watrous of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; her Stapleton family: “Mom” Jeanie Stapleton; Roger & Karen Stapleton, Ashley & Glenn; Randy & Tami Stapleton; “Sister” Rhonda, Mick & Kara Bolon; Leah, Marley, Deliaha & Shane Stapleton; and her step-mother, Wantha Johnson of Liberal, KS.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Abel Little, and “Dad” L. Forrest Stapleton.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Enos Byler officiating.  Burial will follow in New Guilford Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 5-7 p.m., as well as one hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
