Aral (Parrish) Braman

Aral (Parrish) Braman, age 85, died June 11, 2024, at The Cottages in Emmett, Emmett, Idaho. She was born July 13, 1938, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Fred and Irene (Wolfe) Parrish.

Aral graduated from Coshocton High School in 1956 and from Akron City Hospital School of Nursing in 1959, She is survived by her sister, Linda (Parrish) Dahlgren, and several cousins, including Emily (Wolfe) Graves and Janet Wolfe of Coshocton plus nephews and a niece.

Arel had an interesting life following graduation. She worked as a Public Health nurse in Peach Springs, AZ caring for Havasupai Indians, as a Courier Nurse on the Santa Fe Railroad, as a missionary nurse in Haiti and as a prison nurse in the Chino Women’s Prison. She loved animals and spent much of her life living on a farm. Continuously, Aral was an advocate for Jesus. Throughout the years, she brought many others to knowing our Lord.

She will be interred at Greenwood cemetery in Spokane, Washington alongside her late husband, Gary Braman.
